About me:
I am the owner and CEO of Utherverse Digital, Inc. My late partner, Ray Schwartz and I had a vision for a new kind of way for people around the world to interact, and to bring the world closer together.
After many years in development, we launched a very early prototype, which is what you see now as RLC. Over the next years and decades, the vision for empowering individuals and groups; giving support to those who were previously disenfranchised ; and bringing a new kind of inclusion and acceptance to all people will become more and more realized through the Utherverse.
As you can see, I’m passionate about my work. I’ve been so fed up with the way the world is, and with the way the world’s governments and power-systems seem to thrive on distraction and exclusion. Why should drugs be illegal? Why should sex be made so shameful that it is universally censored? Why should violence be tolerated and even promoted in every medium?
It’s enough to make one lose faith in the future of the human race – or, to force those who know better into action.
I felt that going into politics would be like blowing against the wind. These times call for revolutionary methods to effect change, and what better method than to create a new form of human interaction and communication that can bring families and friends closer together, even if they live at great distances; to allow people to learn new cultures and make friends around the world – and thereby to understand others better?
So, from my humble beginnings as a cartoonist, and later an internet entrepreneur (it may surprise some of you to know that porn was not my main internet focus, nor where I made most of my money – but I did run the largest adult entertainment company on the internet for many years); from those beginnings I have moved full-force into the realm of realizing my dream.
On the way here, I’ve done a few other fun and exciting things; although I’ve missed out on many, too.
I’m an easygoing guy; very understanding, liberal, and passionate. I spend a lot of time in my own thoughts, so I’m often quiet and pensive, but it does make me a great listener : ). I enjoy music, and I often travel to live concerts that involve jam bands or any variant of the Grateful Dead (Phil and Friends, Ratdog, etc.).
As a hobby, I wrote a novel that I hoped would both entertain, and serve as a warning about the technology path that the world is on. Alas, the novel has yet to take off as I had hoped it would, although it has received wonderful reviews. One day, I hope it will be turned into a movie. (If anyone wants to help me promote the book, republish the book, or create the movie, I’m open!)

I have a few piercings, and though I appreciate them on others, I have no tattoos myself (yet). I eat moderately healthy, and I get some exercise – but I cheat enough to keep me happy : )
I pass the quiet times by reading fiction (historical, science or contemporary); I play simple games (like Bejeweled2 or Guitar Hero); board games; I watch a little TV (reality tv with friends, documentaries or the Daily Show or, say, Family Guy or Curb Your Enthusiasm when I'm alone); and I'm taking Piano lessons! I'm about a year into learning piano, my first instrument!!
I travel a lot – all over the States and Europe and Brazil. I would love to have an excited travel companion who I can take with me on my trips and cruises! I enjoy going out to great restaurants (all the time!), and I like to go out to a plays, concerts and shows.
