I am 42 years old. I take care of my mother who lives with me, and my nephew (he's 21 but has no interest in utherverse, secondlife or any other virtual worlds). My brother gave me the best Christmas Present Ever - A Siberian Husky Puppy!!! (well he's a year old, maybe a little over a year, my brother wasn't sure). Can't begin to tell you how much I adore my new best friend! His name is Bowser. :-D
I am a private person, and want to keep it that way. I'm here to make friends 'ONLINE', meaning I have no intention of meeting anyone from utherverse 'face-to-face' or on the phone or in Skype or messenger.
Joann is my real first name, as for my last name -I'm keeping that private as well. I don't intend on telling anyone exactly where I live, HOWEVER I might let it slip because I'm not telling you my last name or posting real life photos of myself and/or family. If Looks really aren't important to you -then you don't need to see a real life photo of me. And no you saying "But how do I know you're really a woman if you don't send me a real photo?" Will NOT work on me. Number 1: I don't want to post my real photo, so I'm not going to do it. Period. Number 2: Think!! How do you know that that 'real photo' is really the photo of the person your talking to? It's easy for someone to send or post someone else's photo and say it's their's. (Although I do believe that most people here when they post their real life photos are posting photos of themselves and not someone else's).
So I'd really like to meet people who won't pressure me for real photos. Notice I said 'pressure', anyone asking me for a photo isn't going to offend or upset me, it's the ones who refuse to accept no for an answer that do.

My Siberian Husky Puppy Bowser!!! The best christmas present I ever got!!!
Movies (no not porn). Love going to the movie theater but can't afford to go as often as I use to, so Netflix has become one of my favorite 'sites'. Not that crazy about 'True Life' movies, most of them tend to make me sleepy (especially the Lifetime Movie Network which is my mother's favorite tv channel). The exception are all the paranormal 'true stories' popping up. Recently saw the movie 'The Devil Inside' and Loved it!! My favorite cult movies will always be 'Spellbinder', Rosemary's Baby, Exorcist and Damian. The Wickerman is also another great one! Also love romantic comedies!
Music - Love variety!! I don't hate rap but it is my least favorite. Listen mostly to country music offline, but online I listen to a variety of different styles. Blues, Jazz, rock 'n roll from heavy metal 80's, to the lighter rock and yes even like 'easy listening' like Josh Groban and Michael Buble. I love Michael Buble!! What a voice, and he's good looking too!! ;D
Games: The Sims (console and PC), WOW (world of Warcraft) Please don't ask me what server I play on or my avatar's name, no offense but I prefer to play solo which is why I usually chose to rp as a hunter. That's my only complaint about WOW, they are not really 'solo players' friendly. I bought Diable 3 but have't played it yet. I'll get around to it once I need a break from Utherverse or second life. :D
Virtual Worlds: Utherverse and Second Life. (No I don't think that I'm a horrible person for wanting to be in both worlds, and no I am not mentioning SL to try to get people over there. I personally don't care which virtual world you go to or prefer.) If you know of any other virtual worlds please let me know. Can't have too many options or worlds!!

Most movies based on 'true stories' bore me, but there are a few exceptions. I HATE reality tv shows, but I really like the movies that reality tv influenced, such as The Blair Witch, and all of the recent paranormal reality-type movies with a cult and/or posession theme like Paranormal Activity and The Devil Inside. Wait.. did reality tv influence the blair witch? or was it the other way around? (shrugs)
Cult favorites like Rosemary's Baby, Exorcist, Spellbinder, Damian, The Wickerman, Serpent & The Rainbow, etc.. and the recent 'reality type' paranormal movies coming out for example: Paranormal Activity and The Devil Inside. And of course I love Romantic-Comedies!! Too many favorites to list here.
The only kind of movies I HATE are PORN!! Kinda ironic considering that utherverse is a porn virtual world lol, at least that's what I keep hearing!
Books:
It's sad, I use to be an avid book reader, but ever since I became addicted to console games, my PC and the internet, I hardly read anything between the pages of books. However, I do still read, at the moment I'm reading a book about my new dog, it's about Siberian Husky's - how to train them, etc..
Did you know that garlic is BAD for dogs? I didn't either until I read this book (haven't finished it yet). Unfortunately they only had 2 dog treat recipes, the one I tried was the one with cheese, eggs, he loves it!! Thank god, because the 'Healthy' dog treats I bought from Petsmart is expensive!!
Also have an Astrology book, tarot cards 'how to' book, Encyclopedia of Witchcraft' and similar books. :D
