Music:
All kinds! I listen to a little of everything, INCLUDING metal, country, and rap! Punk and alternative are my favorites, but I also love the music of Lousiana (Cajun/zydeco, Dixieland jazz, brass bands, etc) and bluegrass. i also enjoy African, folk, Celtic, Latin, world music, reggae, big band/swing, oldies, classic rock, among others.
Movies:
All kinds! But I'm a huge fan of science fiction. I also like weird, quirky movies. Other types I like are action movies, cult classics, thrillers, mysteries, horror movies, war movies, westerns,and historical pieces.
Books:
When I became a parent, I kinda fell out of reading books regularly. Trying make time to do that again.
I do read quite a few articles, especially ones on science.
But my favorite genre is science fiction and I love Neal Gaiman. Also like mysteries, classics, historical fiction, Victorian literature. Also like any books that are just weird, bizarre, and fun! Also read a lot of comics in the 70s and 80s and still pick up the occasional graphic novel.
