In 1999 I was diagnosed with a brain tumor that was cancerous and my chance of survival was 30%. I had two major surgeries in Illinois and North Carolina and 30 treatments of proton beam radiation in Loma Linda, CA. In 2009 I was declared Cancer free. I thank God every day for still being here. I am truly blessed.
I work with a Support Group that helps people who have had strokes and any type of Brain Damage. These are some of the most courageous people I have ever met and have developed a bond with them that is like family.
I have two wonderful children that I love with all my heart. I'm so proud of both of them and their accomplishments in life. Life is journey and sometimes the road is not always straight and smooth, but rough and bumpy, but the travels are what you make them. Wishing you all a wonderful day. God Bless!
