HOW TO REPORT A CONTENT COMPLAINT

No matter whether you are a content owner from the United States, or elsewhere in the world, we have decided to remove owned content from our Service by following the process set out under the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act because it makes sense to us to get the details of what is being complained about so we can act on it.

[See details at: 17 U.S.C 512(c)(3) and at the official website of the U.S. Copyright Office, http://www.copyright.gov/onlinesp/agents/utherinc.pdf]

Content owners or an agent wishing to submit a SIGNED notice to us of possible infringement of owned content must submit it to us at ContentComplaint@Utherverse.com

YOUR SIGNED COMPLAINT must contain the following information:

(i) A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed;

(ii) A clear description identifying the place where the work or works claimed to have been infringed are situated (which world, which region, which room etc.);

(iii) Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing the work or works that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled;

(iv) Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and, if available, an electronic mail;

(v) A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the content owner, its agent, or the law; and

(vi) A statement that the information in the Notification to us is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

PLEASE NOTE THAT IF WE TAKE SOMETHING DOWN OR NOTIFY THE PERSON WHO POSTED IT, AND THEY GET PROOF OF CONTRARY OWNERSHIP, THIS WILL RESULT IN THE REQUIREMENT FOR YOU TO FOLLOW-UP YOUR INFRINGMENT PROCEEDINGS OUTSIDE OF THE UTHERVERSE SERVICE.
