What is a WG who caters to FETISHES?

Some WG’s are comfortable providing fetish sessions. Fetish session may include Med Play, Domination, BDSM, Role Play (no age play) and any other fantasy you can possibly think of!  Wearing sexy lingerie or a furry teddy-bear outfit can also be a fetish.  You are also free to purchase and decorate your Zaby to reflect certain role-playing situations (dungeon, school room, sexy boudoir, etc) and enhance your sexual experience for your client. 

Where can I find fetish equipment?

There are special BDSM rooms in RLC that are equipped with props such as swings, restraints, whips etc.  You are also able to create these same props for use within your Zaby. 

Can I provide DUO sessions with another WG?

Yes, you can provide a duo session with another WG.  Just right-click on your client and select the "invite for threesome" option when you are inviting someone for sex, and make sure there is a bed nearby which is programmed for the threesome sex action.  As of now, sexual encounters in RLC is limited to 3 members only and voyeurism is always available! 

Becoming a working Girl/Guy

become a Working Girl or Guy, all you need to do is to turn on your badge and away you go!  If you would not like to be listed in the directory, then all you have to do is sign into your Social Center, click on the Settings button, and click on the option "I am an Erotic Services Provider" on the General Preferences section.  When you refresh your social center page, there should be an option on your "At A Glance" main page to turn your "Working Girl/Guy" badge on and off.  When you turn it on, you should have a "Working Girl/Guy" sign over your head.

Wearing this badge does require a certain amount of responsibility in terms of knowing the rules of Solicitation in Utherverse.  Please familiarize yourself with the contents of this document before turning on your “WG” Badge, as you are solely responsible for your own behavior while wearing it.

Your Badge

Any VIP User can turn on their “Working Girl/Guy” badge if they desire to do so.  If you are thinking of offering your sexual services to others, you MUST be wearing a “Working Girl/Guy” Badge, whether you are listed on the WG directory or not. 

Badges are turned off in areas where they are not allowed. So don't PANIC! If you are in-world and don’t see your badge even though it's turned on, please just proceed to the nearest area where WG's are allowed to solicit. If you go to an area where the badge is allowed you should be able to see it.

If you are a “Verified” WG, you should also see “+Working Girl/Guy+” option in your social center, and when you log in-world, the same “+Working Girl/Guy+” icon should appear.  When you see this icon, it means that other users around you will be able to see a red star above your head, which sets you apart from the pack in terms of being a “listed” WG on the directory.  YOU WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO SEE YOUR OWN STAR.  If you would like to check if your star is working, just travel to an area where you are allowed to solicit, and ask a friend in the room if they can see it. 

Soliciting in Utherverse

Solicitation of WG services is not to be conducted in private businesses, unless the business has been pre-approved for solicitation and submitted a request to Red Light Center Admin. 
 
Solicitation of WG’s service’s is not to be conducted in the general chat under any circumstances. The badge is there to show those interested that you are available to provide the service, and any transaction which is to be conducted must be done in a private message between the parties involved. Any Working Girl/Guy who is found to be in violation of this rule will first receive a warning. A second violation will result in an account suspension and a possible fine. Any further violations will result in a ban with an optional cancellation of the account.

WG Directory

The WG DIRECTORY (wg.redlightcenter.com) is a database of “Listed” RLC Working Girls/Guys.  The directory allows WG’s to advertise their services and attract clients while also allowing potential clients the ability to search, review and book their next RLC Session with their preferred RLC Working Girl/Guy.  This is the place to advertise your services, availability, rates, stats and restrictions. The Directory also includes a Review Board with a rating system and a 'Specials' Board. WG's will need to purchase either a SILVER, GOLD or PLATINUM monthly ad plan. WG's who purchase monthly GOLD or PLATINUM ad spots/plans will be assigned the use of an RLC Alley Windows which will be decorated with their own personal 'photo posters'.

There will be no sexually explicit photos being displayed on the WG Directory. The photos can be suggestive, and partially unclothed, but not showing any penis or vagina shots. You are welcome to display more explicit pictures in your profiles, buy please be aware that you are responsible for being 2257 Compliant, as we are only the carrier website of these images.

Photo Verification

Photo Verification is a process which A Working Girl/Guy can work with Utherverse and confirm their identity to provide a more personal experience with their clients. In order to do this you must send in a clear scan of your Government-Issued Photo I.D as well as a photo of yourself holding this I.D and a piece of paper with a verification word on it that I will provide to you. You are allowed to be on the Working Girl/Guy Directory if you are not verified as well. You are NOT allowed to verify more than one WG Account on the Directory, although you are allowed to have more than one WG profile up on the directory if you wish.

When you create your WG profile you have the option of uploading photos. You will notice the 'Real Photos” section of your DETAILS box. In order to change the 'NO' to a 'YES' you will need to have your uploaded images verified by RLC staff. You cannot make this change yourself.

If you would like to become a verified WG, you must go through the entire process to become listed as verified, even if you would like to be only age or gender verified. If a WG would like to become verified, it is now a two-step system. Please email me at wg@utherverse.com and say “I would like to become a verified WG”. I will send you a reply email, stating that in order to become verified, I need a copy of Government Issued Photo I.D** as well as a digital photo of you holding the i.d and a small piece of paper with a word or phrase on it, something that I provide. It can be taken from a webcam or a digital photo, but the image must be clear and the sign must be readable. Your whole face does have to be visible if you would like to be verified. NO-ONE besides the staff members will see these photos; they are strictly for verification purposes only. Send in a copy of your i.d as always, to www.utherverse.com/id, along with the picture that you have uploaded. This is a secure internal system, and absolute privacy and discretion is assured.

Your Working Girl/Guy Poster

All GOLD and PLATINUM members that are listed on the WG Directory are entitled to a poster which is displayed in the Alley and in the Bareback Bordello.  These posters work on a rotating basis, changing every ten seconds.  You poster will be included in this ad and will be shown hundreds of times per day.  The poster links up directly to your WG Profile on wg.redlightcenter.com , and will contribute to a higher “ranking” on the WG page.

MAKING A POSTER: 

1. You poster should be 256k x 256k for the best resolution. That means it should be a square and the picture should be a decent size, not really tiny or else it will turn out blurry. 
2. The poster should also clearly display your WG name in clear easy to read lettering , and if you would like, a little "WG" symbol. If you are verified, you are also welcome to include that on your poster as well.  
3. You can use Paint or Photo shop to make these changes to your picture. If you cannot do that, we will gladly do it for you! All you have to do is send in your jpeg image that you would like to wg@utherverse.com 
4. I will send you the photo back as a new poster, but don't worry about uploading it. If we made it for you, I will put it up.  I will also send you a jpeg. copy to keep for yourself. 
5. I bet you are eager to see your new poster in world, BUT WAIT! There is one more thing: Go into whatever internet browser you are using (Firefox, Internet Explorer, etc.) and delete all temporary internet files, clear your cache and your cookies. This deletes all the poster files your computer has been holding temporarily, and then you get the new ones loading from the game.  
 
WHEN YOU ARE UPLOADING A POSTER: 

1. Sign into your WG profile at wg.redlightcenter.com. 
2. When you are looking at your profile, there is a red text above the "sign out" button that says "upload your billboard ad"  
3. This is how you submit your poster.

The Working Girl / Guy Program

1. “The Verification”. When you verify yourself (even just your gender) you can demand a higher rate because you are not only providing a service but also reassurance and peace of mind.  This is by no means a requirement to be a Working Girl/Guy, but simply an option available to all WG’s for those who would like to offer their customer the reassurance that they are legitimately who they say they are.  That being said, this is a FANTASY game and therefore users are allowed to be whoever they would like to portray.  You do not have to be Verified to be listed on the Working Girl/Guy Directory.  Additional instructions on verification can be found in the Photo Verification section of this Guide.

2. “The Listed vs. Unlisted” When you are listed in the WG Directory, you are not only recognized in RLC by a pretty red star above your name, but also by the stellar reputation a 'premium' WG holds.

WG's provide a very important service to our members and we are very grateful for your loyalty and hard work. Our premium WG's will be properly looked after, valued and highly respected by the Utherverse team. In turn, all we ask is that our premium WG's conduct themselves properly, with dignity and honor, abide by the rules and regulations and provide top notch sessions. Reports of theft (taking Rays and not providing a session) will not be tolerated, and those WG's found guilty of theft will be permanently removed from the WG program.

We want members to be confident that when they book a Premium WG, they are getting the very BEST! We stand behind our WG's and being a Premium WG means you are the very BEST, and being the best means you can demand the rate you feel you deserve.

3. “Ease of locating a Listed WG” The WG Directory (http://wg.redlightcenter.com/Landing.html) allows your potential clients the ease of searching for a specific WG who caters to their needs with the easy to use search and browse features. If they want a red head who likes to dominate and enjoys dirty talk the 'advance search' feature will quickly find the WG they are looking for.

The bottom line is that your clients would rather pay more for WG's listed within the Directory whos session options, stats, rates, schedule, specials, reviews and photos are properly displayed and searchable. Time is money and those who value their time won't mind paying more for efficiency.

4. “Advertising and prebooking”  Advertising your services on the WG Directory makes you visible to many more potential clients than ever before. You reach a greater audience, those who aren't necessarily in RLC when you are. Think about all the members you haven't met who are searching for session like yours... it's simply impossible to be in World 24/7 so with the pre-booking option your clients can learn about you and your services and book an appointment. You will greatly increase your client base and generate more quality appointments by advertising.

And if you want to charge an arm and a leg... then so be it, no longer will you waste your time selling your services to members only to have them 'nickel and dime' you or simply walk away when you inform them of your rates. Your rates will be clearly displayed and who those who can afford you WILL contact you.

5. “WG workshops” WG Workshops are currently being developed which will help improve your sessions. These workshops are intended to help you provide better sessions which will generate even better reviews. Again, the better you are, the more you can charge. If you are a WG fully trained in fetish sessions, avatar positions, dirty talk, male/female satisfaction tricks, kink, how to give mind blowing cam shows, phone sex 101 and all the tricks of the trade you have the RIGHT to demand a higher fee.

Think about it this way.... Why can someone with a University degree demand a higher salary than someone with a college diploma? Being fully educated in the art of WG services makes you a pro, and gives you the right to demand a higher rate.

Making Money

To earn Rays you partake in a virtual sex session with another member in exchange for Rays. Before your session your client will deposit your ‘fee’ into your ‘Ray Bank Account’ located on your Utherverse profile page.  They can do this by right-clicking on your avatar while in-world and selecting the “Send me Rays” option, or by using the “Send Me Funds” option on your Social Center Profile.  Always collect your payment before providing your services in order to keep fraud and non-payment at a minimum.  You have the ability to trade your earned Rays in for REAL cash in the ‘Ray Marketplace’. Utherverse  does not take a portion of your Rays you earn from your sessions. We do however take a small fee(currently 3.5%) when Rays are sold in the Marketplace. (This applies to ALL members)

How many Rays can I earn?

This depends on many factors: Your rate, your reviews/service, how you attract potential clients, how many hours you work, whether you provide Cam Shows or Phone Sex…. Currently WG’s providing cam and/or phone sex options earn around 3 times more than WG’s providing only RLC virtual sex.  You can then use these Rays that you have earned to pay for your VIP subscription, to become listed on the “WG Directory”, to buy gifts for other users, etc. 

How would I determine my rate?

Utherverse does not provide set rates for services such as these. You decide your own personal rate and you have the ability to change your rate at any time or to offer specials. We suggest that you use ‘Trial and Error’ until you find a rate that works for you.  A good way to get an idea of what you should be charging is to go to http://wg.redlightcenter.com and compare what others are charging vs. what you would like to charge.  Think about what kinds of services you are willing to offer your clients and how much you would pay for these services yourself.  Remember, some ladies charge less and offer specials but make A LOT due to the number of clients they attract due to their affordability.

Things to consider when determining your Rate:

Are you Age/Gender/Photo Verified?

Are your Reviews on your “WG Directory” good or bad?

What kind of services are you willing to offer?

VIRTUAL SEX – Any and all kinds of Avatar Sex featured in Red Light Center.

CAM SHOW - Providing your client with a sexy web-cam show Via MSN or another chat program which incorporates webcams.

PHONE SEX - Talking dirty to your client during your session via SKYPE or MSN/YAHOO etc.

TOY SHOW - Having fun with your favorite sex toys on web-cam or during phone sex.

FETISH SESSION (in RLC) - Role Playing, sessions with fetish equipment such as whips, floggers, hand-cuffs etc. 

Becoming a listed WG

To sign up on the Working Girl/Guy directory, please follow these steps:

1. Go to http://wg.redlightcenter.com/Landing.html and enter the site using either the Girls or Guys entrance (doesn’t matter).
2. Click on the “Get Listed” Button on the top right-hand corner of the page, just under the “Powered by Utherverse” symbol. 
3. Enter your Social Center login information for the account you would like associated with your Working Girl/Guy status.   You must already have an account through www.utherverse.com to sign up on this site. 
4. You will now be logged in to your WG “Profile” where you can edit each additional section with the information you wish to share with potential clients. 

Editing your WG Profile

When you are logged into your Profile, you will see several places where the word “edit” appears in red writing.  These are the spaces you can customize with your own personal information. 

Uploading Pictures: You can showcase up to four of your best photos in this Gallery.  If you are a “Photo-Verified” WG,   you will not be able to change your photos manually, for the obvious reasons.  If you are Photo-Verified and would like to change your photos’ please email “Sweet_Marie” at wg@utherverse.com and I will turn the option off briefly for you and on again when you are done uploading new photos. 

About Me: This section allows your clients to learn more about you and your sessions.  Be sure to provide a racy and descriptive body so that customers will be able to see a glimpse of your tantalizing personality. 

Details: This section provides your basic statistics.  This is also where you will submit online photos of yourself to become Verified. 

Session Options: This section allows your clients to see what type of sessions you provide (Cam shows, Phone-Sex, Toy shows, Fetish sessions, etc).

Schedule: Display your availability in this box so your clients can see when you are online and also to take pre-bookings for sessions.

Rates: This section allows clients to view your current rates for various services.

Posted Specials:  Posting your current specials on your ad page will attract new clients. 

My Reviews: This section is where customers can post reviews on their experiences with you.  This section should be used for only those members who have had an encounter with you.  If you detect any spam or false postings on your board, please email wg@utherverse.com and we will look into the matter for you and delete any spam posts as needed.

Selecting a plan

In order for your profile to be viewed on the WG Directory Page, you must select a Payment Plan, depending on the level of exposure you would like to receive.  To do this, click on the red writing on the top of your profile which states “Click here to Select a Plan”.  Below is a chart which outlines the different payment plans available to you.

Work Hours

The Working Girl/Guy Manager works Monday-Friday 10AM-6PM Pacific Standard Time, so if you have a problem outside of those hours which needs immediate attention, please email support@utherverse.com.  All general inquiries about the Working Girl/Guy Program should be sent to wg@utherverse.com.

The Forums

The forums provide users with the ability to ask and answer questions and communicate with our staff and other users. You may ask questions related to the software, report bugs or problems, talk politics, introduce yourself or anything you want. Just be sure to submit to the appropriate category and of course, spamming and rude/abusive behavior are forbidden.  The appropriate page for WG’s to post about wg-related matters is the “Working Girl/Guy Information and Review Board”

Tips N Tricks

1. I highly recommend exploring the RLC World and gaining a solid understanding of RLC Virtual Sex by playing around with other members before you put on your badge. Test your virtual sex skills out with our Sex Robots located in the Hotel or the Passion Pits. With the Robots you can experiment with all the different sex positions and learn how to create a mind blowing sex session that will leave your clients begging for more.
   
   
2. If you really want to be successful with this program , you have to first spend a substantial amount of time talking to people while in-world and showing them what you can do.  Be prepared to offer first-timer or threesome specials, as these kinds of offers will turn potential clients into regulars!  Spend time talking to other WG’s about how they operate, and be sure to participate in many different activies in Utherverse, you never know when your next potential client may show up!
   
   
3. The moment you stop enjoying being a WG is the moment you should hang-up your WG badge and find other ways of making money. Just because you are behind a computer doesn’t mean your client can’t sense your attitude and why bother doing anything you don’t like, right?
   
   
4. Be friendly, exciting and genuine. You will be reviewed, and while a BAD review can hurt your business for awhile… a GOOD review will ensure you are busy and your bank account full. If you are irritable, short, snobby (unless you are providing a domination session) or boring, your clients will not only never repeat with you….but they will also ensure that other potential clients don’t waste their Rays.
   
   
5. If all this seems strange to you and you are not sure you have the personality to carry out a steamy virtual sex session with some complete stranger over the net, then consider creating an ‘alter ego’ and become someone completely different.  Here are some examples of who you could become…

      The Innocent Sponge – Inexperienced and willing to be taught

      The Sexual Daredevil – Willing to try anything twice, no fetish is off limits.

      The Nympho Slut – Porn-star attitude, promiscuous and proud of it, needing sex 24/7

The Dominatrix – You enjoy giving verbal bashings, you are superior and rule at the art of humiliation.

Be creative and invent an alter ego that will make you feel comfortable and confident. The point is to enjoy yourself and your sessions will reflect that. 


6. This goes without saying…. Don’t rip-off clients. If you think you’ll get away with accepting Rays from clients and logging out and/or changing your name before your session… you won’t! Your ripped-off client will make sure its known to other members that you are a scammer. Although RLC does not get involved with these kinds of disputes, we do have the ability to identify you even if you constantly change your name. You won’t fool anyone, you will only hurt yourself so always be honest!
 
7. Consider the power of choice. Your clients will love it if they have some input on your Avatars appearance during their session. Maybe they like pink hair and piercings or maybe a natural look is more their style so mentioning that you are ‘open to outfit and appearance requests’ might attract more clients who have special tastes.
 
8. Make sure that you make the session ‘real’ by connecting with your client and guiding them through their time in your own personal way. If you ‘bring your clients into your world’ by connecting with them, your sessions will be a success and you will be known as a top WG. Oil, squeeze bottles, ribbon, ice cubes, wax etc are all common household items and perfect erotic tools to send your client into ecstasy!  Comfort is KEY! Make sure your client is comfortable and relaxed and you’ve won half the battle.
 

9. While I’m sure you have other potential clients to book and satisfy, if you are a clock watcher and rush your sessions you will lose regulars and probably receive reviews reflecting your uptight attitude. I can’t stress how important a good reputation is to your business. Take your time with your clients and make them feel special. You are there to satisfy their needs and I advise that you prepare for the possibility that some sessions might run a little late as some clients take longer than others. Have you ever had to rush an orgasm?? Not very satisfying is it!
 

10. Some in-world Hosts have shown interest in helping WG’s find new clients. Although they do not charge for this helpful service, ‘tipping’ the host who found your client would be an excellent way to show your appreciation.  Tipping is up to you and not required.  If you are interested in connecting with a Host attend one of our meet-and-greets.

12. Lastly and most importantly… be safe! Just because you are behind the safe confines of your computer doesn’t mean that you have nothing to worry about. Unfortunately we live in a very sick World and you can never be too careful when giving out personal information. Your clients could be ANYONE!  People lie, and even if a client appears to be the sweetest guy in the World, It doesn’t mean he’s not some psychopath with bad intentions. Protect yourself, NEVER, EVER tell someone your real name, where you live, the school you went to, your dog’s name etc… Facebook, Myspace or Google Search makes it very easy to track someone down these days.
