Welcome, We are a group of like minded persons who have gotten together to form a membership of good people. We are a membership of men and women who want to explore our sexuality, make great friends, enjoy good relationships, and learn from one another our sexual level of kinkiness without being put down for our choice of lifestyle, whatever that may be. We all have fun together, cry together, learn together, and have great conversations about anything and everything.
Our History:
One day a group of us were sitting around talking about how it was so difficult to meet people here, and to have quality time together. It seemed to us that every time we tried to have some fun, some rude or uninformed persons would want to intrude into our space and ruin our fun. The ignore button was wonderful for a time, but we found that a lot of the rudeness was because some of these people were just uninformed, and unaware that good manners were important. After a time we found that a lot of these people turned out to be great people with a lot to offer. They just needed to be educated. Nevertheless we found there was still a large group of individuals, and even groups that had nothing better to do than to tear down anything that they felt did not fit within their beliefs, or realm of understanding. These types of people act without any facts, and have a mob mentality, which means they will hang you before finding out the facts or the truth. These people are not welcome into the ranks of the House of Leather and Lace.
You must be 18 or older to become a MEMBER or a VISITOR in the House of Leather and Lace!
CODE OF CONDUCT for the House of Leather and Lace members and guests:
1. MEANING OF “NO”. Our main rule is that NO means NO, THE FIRST TIME, and if anyone cannot understand that, then they do not belong around our house and family. We are here to have fun, so leave the DRAMA to the forums, and ignore them.
2. RESPECT. Remember, behind each Avatar is a real person with feelings, and needs to be treated with respect. We do not discriminate because of sexual preference, gender, or race. Anyone abusing this will be asked to leave The House of Leather and Lace, or possibly be banned altogether.
3. PERSONAL MESSAGES. Please do NOT PM first without asking, unless you already have permission from the person you are contacting. Asking someone for sexual favors, or being nasty and obnoxious will get you booted quickly from the house.
4. BAD LANGUAGE. Excessive bad language, abusive language, in the main room are all prohibited in the Main Room. Be cool, be Nice, be respectful of others at all times.
5. NUDITY. Full Public Nudity is prohibited in the Main Room.
6. BAD BEHAVIOR. Being a total ass will get you booted or banned from the House of Leather and Lace for good. Overly pushy persons will be asked to leave immediately. We have a ZERO tolerance level for this, and will not allow it PERIOD.
7. PREDATORS. No predators will be allowed at any time. Do NOT go into the private rooms unless invited. Do not hang out waiting for victims, or without a partner.
8. INTERRUPTIONS. Do NOT interrupt members when they are in private rooms. There is nothing worse than being interrupted during a private moment.
9. BDSM. We are NOT a BDSM house. This is a social center. however we do have members who are into that lifestyle. So if this is your thing, then Please keep it between you and them. We have a separate dimension for BDSM preferences.
10. DRAMA. Although we strive to keep drama to a minimum, it will happen. So please, if you are having a drama moment keep it in PM. Open drama can lead to being booted from the house.
11. BANNED LIST. The following behaviors could lead to you being put on the banned list, to prevent you from entering the House of Leather and Lace. These should be common sense to most people, but for some, they are not. We are a private club, and not following the rules of the House of Leather and Lace could also get you booted from main RLC areas:
a. Stalking, following another member around when they have asked you to leave them alone
b. Excessive pms without permission.
c. Creating drama that spills over into the house general chat.
d. Offensive and abusive language in general chat, or pm's.
e. Hanging out in the bedrooms without a partner.
f. Being disrespectful in any way because of sexual preference, race, or gender.
g. Being under the age of 18.
h. Sitting on others laps without permission.
i. Being abusive towards the house or any of its members.
j. Not leaving the house after being asked to leave for violating our rules.
HOUSE RULES:
1. MEMBERSHIPS IN OTHER CLUBS. Members of the House of Leather and Lace are permitted to have dual membership with any other clubs or organizations in RLC. We are here for fun and friendship not battles between clubs and houses.
2. MEMBER PROFILE ACCESSIBILITY. All member profiles must be accessible to House staff members at all times.
3. RULE CHANGES. This house is paid for and operated by the Members of the House Of Leather and Lace, and all rules are subject to change.
4. ADDING MEMBERS AS FRIENDS. Do not add members to your friends list without at least meeting them, or asking for the add. A blind friends request could be denied, and could have adverse reactions from those who don’t know you.
5. MEMBERSHIP PLEASE SEE BELOW IN OTHER LINKS
6. MONTHLY MEETING. A Leather and Lace Member meeting is scheduled on the 1st Sunday of each month at 1PM Pacific time (3PM Central time, 4PM Eastern time), unless otherwise announced. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss any other items on the agenda. The agenda is to be decided by the Senior Staff. Special announcements are allowed by members and management alike, although personal negative agendas are not discussed.
7. NEGATIVE ISSUES. We are not going to have dramatized debates cluttering up the House Of Leather and Lace, because those are the first signs that a chat room is going downhill. If you have an issue of a negative nature, it is to be taken to management Let us handle it we are trained and know how to deal with most issues if not we have a great working relationship with the Protectors and Staff of RLC and will use them if necessary.
