Interests:
As a sub, I'm obviously interested in the L/s from that angle...by increasing my own knowledge and figuring out exactly what I want from my Master and how to impart that knowledge to him. Music:
I have a very eclectic taste in music. Looking through my collection, you'll find something in just about every musical genre, except for maybe gangsta rap. I listen to a lot of country (love Toby Keith, Keith Urban, and Billy Dean to name a few), rock/hard rock (I absolutely LOVE Nickelback), and 80s hair bands (even 20 years later, Bret Michaels is STILL totally, freakin' hot), although at the moment, I'm sorta hooked on Alter Bridge, Dark New Day, and Theory of a Deadman.
Movies:
My absolute favorite movies of all time are "Interview With the Vampire" and "Meet Joe Black," and NOT because they both have Brad Pitt in 'em. That's just a fringe benefit. ;-) But as with music, my taste in movies is very broad. Chick flicks, action, mystery/suspense, cartoons, and especially scary movies, and lots of others can be found in my collection. But I'm a child of the 80s, which leaves me with a very special soft spot for cheesy horror flicks...doesn't matter if they're silly like "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" or 'slice and dice' like "A Nightmare on Elm Street" or "Saw"...I love them all.
Books:
My favorite L/s related books are Erotic Surrender: The Sensual Joys of Female Submission; Screw the Roses; and Kink Magic. But beyond that, I read what I write for the most part...romantic suspense (my favorite author being ME, of course), and sometimes erotica...gotta keep up with the trends so I'll know what's selling ;-) I also love paranormal romances...Sherrilyn Kenyon, Anne Rice, Christine Feehan...there's just something about being bitten by a sexy vampire.
But having come out of the broom closet years ago, I have to keep up with what's new in new age, witchcraft, and astrology too.
At the moment, I'm re-reading "Kink Magic" by Taylor Ellwood & Lupa. Great fucking book for those into magic AND the L/s!
