The Interface - Customize Your Avatar

When you click on this icon, it enables you to change your avatar’s appearance and gender. To do this, click on the icon and it will bring up a “Customize you Avatar” box. Choose from the menu of items including gender, race, hair and clothing. If you decide to upgrade to VIP in the future, there will be many more clothing options available to you.

After you have made your selections click on 'save changes' to return to the chat. This button does not work when you are on the dance floor. You will appear invisible to other members when you are using this feature.

  The Interface - Home

This icon will take you directly to the Transport Center, where you can jump to any region in Utherverse easily.

From this main hub, you can walk through any of the doors on the left or right to reach your destination quickly without walking there physically. Walk straight through the doors at the end of the Transport Center to reach the RLC main street. There are also links to Rude World and Virtual Vancouver’s transport centers here as well.

  The Interface - Dimensions

Dimensions are copies of the same room or “instances”. What it does is it spreads out the players who want to enter a specific place across several dimensions to prevent lag and keep the game running smoothly, even at peak hours.

So you and your friend might, technically be in the same room at the same time but not be able to see each other because you are in different dimensions. To change the dimension you are in, just click on any selection that is not green. The green color illustrates the dimension you are in.

  The Interface - Friends Locator

This button brings up a list of the people who are in the room with you right now using the “local” heading. You can also find your friends from your social center friends list, search for new users or staff, see who is on your ignore list, and check out how many users are online in-world at the moment.

If you right-click with your mouse on any user’s name, you are given several options to interact with this person. You can see the users’ Social Center profile, send them rays, send a private message , or jump to where they are in-world. You can also add/remove this user to your friends list or ignore them by using this feature as well.

  The Interface - Options Panel

If you click on this arrow, it will bring up a list of Options available to you, including:

Profile
Search

Prop-Edit

  The Interface - Actions Toolbar

The Quick bar is a dropdown action menu located on the top left hand side of the screen. It is there to help you access all the actions your avatar can do in a quick and easy manner. There are 10 rows of 10 slots which you can customize with your favorite dance moves, sex actions, emotions and much more. Holding your mouse over the picture puts a lettered action over the icon, so you can read it easily. If you are having sex or dancing the appropriate options for the type of dance floor or bed you are on also appear on the right hand side of the screen. The first small icon that looks like a page is where you will find the master list of movement options. Left-click on this once and it will bring up a menu of movements for you to choose from.

To add an action to your toolbar, click on it once and drop it into any of the numbered slots that have empty squares above them on the quick bar. This move will now be remembered as one of your favorites. To remove an action from your toolbar, click on the action you would like removed and then click anywhere else on the screen besides the quick bar. You can also move around the order of your actions this way, too.

  The Interface - Dialogue Box

This chat box is where you will be typing and interacting with your friends, kind of like a chat room. Just click on the bottom left hand corner to get started chatting with your friends. Anything you type into this box labeled “local” will be visible for every user who is in the same religion as you. If you are a VIP and would like to have a private conversation, just right click on that person’s avatar and click the option “private message”. A tab will open up with this users name on it, and you can chat privately using this box.

On the top right hand side of the screen, you have a few options available to darken/lighten the text box, and change the size of the font. There is also an option here to maximize/minimize the chat box screen. You can resize the text box manually by right clicking on the top right hand side of the text box and holding the mouse button down while you move the screen.

  The Interface - Clothing Remove/Replace

Click various parts of the avatars body to remove articles of clothing. You must be completely naked to unlock sex actions. This option is available to VIP members only.

The Interface - Using Text Commands

You can also use any actions available to you by utilizing the “slash” commands in the text box. If you do not want to use the Action Toolbar, alternatively you can use the / button with your command after it and you will perform that action.

For example, if you want to skate, just type /skate into your chat box and you will be skating.
