ok here we go again,

its now 3 months i applied for UC Designer and still waiting and now i dont even get a response form the so called UC Profile anymore ...

nobody has seen or heard from Sexyone nor does the 'support team' work either

now i wonder if UC is on the collapse again, as i dont believe anymore in 'no news is good news' ,,, cause quiet frankly in REAL world terms it means nothing and i hate being strung along in rl or in rlc for that matter ..

i know there many who waiting for a response from UC , so can someone who has some sort of authority give us a update a) where is the owner and approver of UC and when will we get our answers , as even under batch approval points this is taking to long...

If I were working on a new UC from the ground up and adding the new meshes, which change often, to the present program I think I`d be head down and going for it too. We also got an update to the UC Program not long back to version 0.061. I`m not sure support personel deal with applications to be UC Designers. Just a case of sit and wait, many took longer than 3 months to get there.

which is fair enough, but if good service is supposed to be provided to clients and designers - letting them know about certain issues should be a must .... at least that's what i understand under care when run a business ...

i appreciated that there a lot of issues going on on rlc and uc, but to be honest this is going on for 3 months , big rlc patch was not even a month ago ... there designers waiting to be accepted for upto 6 months now, are u trying to tell me that this big swing around is affecting communication between UC and its designers and clients?

If you are so disgruntled with UC feel free to use ther other one but please pleaswe dont start rumors in here that you know nothing about!!!This is just an attack because you have not heard anything.....please do not attck the UC or UVD for thast matter if you do not know the truth!!

Why do you think you're entitled?

Are you a share holder in UtherCloset ?

As far as adding new designers.... It would be crazy to add anyone while Utherverse cant make up its mind what its going to do to the avatars.

This is the same reason that UVD is having its constant downtimes, so it can try and keep up with the constant changes.

well im entitled like everyone else who has a question to a certain party to receive a response , it is as simple as that ... UC is organisation run by people just like me , so do not insult my intelligence...

im entitled like all the other designers and clients to get a answer to their questions, also it seems to me that uc has more to cover than they can explain, but thats only my personal opinion which I AM ENTITLED TO HAVE ...

Lets take you points one at a time...

You wanted a response as to why you havent been added as a designer....you received a response from support, saying you would be informed if/when you were accepted.
You were also told that you wouldnt be constantly informed when you didnt make it in on that particular batch.

You also wanted to know why UtherCloset doesnt keep its designers updated..... It does....on its own private forum.

Last time i looked you didnt have any access to that particular forum, so i guess thats why you dont know.You also seem to think you're entitled to information about how a privately run business conducts itself.Guess you will have to wonder about that too.

Just a correction on one point made in this thread as I really have no dog in the fight on the main topic...


You are entitled to ask a question... you are NOT entitled to an answer. I'm not saying that them giving an answer wouldnt be good for business, though.

It falls back to the old saying: You can lead a horse to water, but you cant make it drink. You can ask a question 1000 times, but you cant force someone to answer. You can talk until you're blue in the face, but you cant force anyone to listen.

I think that's where this conversation is becoming a bit of a 'circle-jerk' and the issues are going to be lost.

why thank u for ur responds and kind words and yes lets do this step by step ...


when applied for designer ur rules state it will take 7-10 days, if u cant keep this times than i do believe out of courtesy u should inform the ppl who have applied it calls customer care ...

yes i have received a response to my first msg from uc profile which tells me that no news is good news, now u explain to me how one is supposed to work on this basis, how do u run a organisation who tells their people than no news is great news and lets them in all honesty just wonder what is happening ?

secondly to ur responds i have never asked to be constantly informed, i wanted a straight answer which im sorry but ' no news is good news' dont quite covered it for me.

but like i said thank u so much for ur sharp tongued response , which shows respect to everyone who has the same questions as i have , i think u dealing extremely professional with that issue ... on the end of the day u let new applicants hang in limbo which is from a professional point of u not acceptable ... u flapping ur wings at me and try to show the rlc world that u better than anyone else, i just hope u able to live up to that ...

as far as im concern i dont care anymore if uc is accepting me as a designer or not, io stick with UVD at least they have some customer service going on which deals with respect and knowledge and not smart ass responses ...

Just a small comment from a business perspective. Surely as UC is a business and is trying to encourage business to make money and Sin is a potential customer who will bring in revenure for UC? Then UC, as Sin says, out of common courtesy should update her on where her application is at the moment. Perhaps the real problem is the lack of competition in this area where you only jave 2 parties. I dont think Sin is at all trying to create any rumour or notion that UC has a problem other than the pure frustration of a blank response. Lets face it UC in this case is not helping its own cause.

Not for everyone. If you have too many closet slots it crashes every time you try to update your outfits. It's been like that since the last software revision. It's a shame. No way to wear anything I bought, not to mention all those delicious free Xmas outfits.Cry

I have problems updating too sometimes when my internet connection is heavily loaded (I use wifi).

No, it's still version 0.61 and updating profile still crashes every time.

It doesn't always patch in a new version when it does updating.

well im not attacking UC by commenting here but i would like to say yes you are entitled to ask any question you may have but as mentioned already that doesnt mean you will get an answer so dont worry about Sarah's attitude problem we have all dealt with that before she just has issues with everyone nothing personal... just so u know, but yeh some people comment about it takes forever but some of them only designed for a month or two and somehow got into UC that quick i applied in january waited and waited til july then asked sexyone why i was still waiting and she told me there was a new way to apply so i had to reapply so i did, no problems but then her and my real life hubby got into it so she denied me regardless if i did anything or not so just a tip dont let your friends piss off sexyone or she might just deny you! im not lyin either, i did NOTHING to her but since she got into it with my husband she denied me which is wrong.. so watch out.. but ya anyway it takes forever thats why i just use UVD Smile
